Congratulations to The Diana Foundation for winning Best Dressed Tent 2014 at the annual Bunnies on the Bayou event held at Fish Plaza in downtown Houston. Diana members joined thousands of festive bunnies on Easter Sunday to celebrate the holiday. Finally, Houston weather cooperated!
Seventeen organizations sponsored organization tents during the event. Each organization was asked to provide information while providing some special decor. This was the first year The Diana Foundation had sponsored a tent and participated in the decoration contest. Diana members distributed 2,000 purple plastic cups to promote the foundation, which were very popular. In addition, membership materials were passed out to those interested in becoming more involved.
At the conclusion of the event, coordinators for Bunnies on the Bayou awarded the Diana's with a special ribbon and Easter Bunny trophy. Plans are already underway for next year's design.
